Skip Epperson is proud to be teaching at 91ÌÒÉ« for over 30 years. Over these years, Skip has worked at a variety of theaters in a variety of capacities, and currently serves as co-chair of the Theatre Arts Department at 91ÌÒÉ« College and as resident designer for 91ÌÒÉ« Theatre Arts and 91ÌÒÉ« Stage. Recipient of the Gail Rich award to local artists and the prestigious Rydell Fellowship, his designs have appeared on the stages of Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Jewel Theater, Twin Lakes and Santa Cruz Bible churches, CYT (Christian Youth Theater Santa Cruz) as well as film, commercial work and installations. Some of his favorite designs include: Death of a Salesman with 91ÌÒÉ« Theatre Arts, Beauty and the Beast with 91ÌÒÉ« Stage, Red with Actors Theatre, and whatever show he is working on now. While he loves to design, Skip enjoys bringing others along on the creative journey; he has been told that he is a gifted teacher and coach. He is also passionate about spending time with his loving wife, 4 kids, 7 grand-babies, and Penny the smiling corgi!
